I'll update here later but other CCC users on Cortana, take note: local clones good, remote clones bad. ![]() DiskWarrior 5.2 to run DiskWarrior from a recovery flash drive created while running macOS 10.14 Mojave or macOS 10.15 Catalina. I started the clone process and it is now converting and telling me 'this could take a while' which I can believe. How long does DiskWarrior take Disk Warrior has been known to take as much as 17 days, or as little as 2 hours to do its work. The disk was HFS+ but now has to convert to APFS. Well the next step is to clone locally but that isn't straightforwards, of course. To cut it short, the new 10.15 file structure can't go over the LAN. After some playing with CCC, it seems that my used-to-work clone is no longer valid under 10.15 Cortana as I was cloning to a remote drive attached to my mini and System files don't go. Having cleared it from the Clone, I tried booting from that disk but it won't show in System Preferences > Startup disk. I browsed the CCC disk and was able to delete it on there as long as I provided the Admin password (or double click on Watch - I love that feature). specifications changelog Download Now Report Issue DiskWarrior 4. Regarding the file I can't delete - /Library/StagedExtensions/Applications/Parallels Desktop.app - I was thinking about it today. ![]()
